Beginner/Puppy Class is suitable for all puppies 10 weeks of age and older. We will also accept new to the handler dogs and adult dogs needing beginner skills.
This class focuses on building the relationship between dog and owner. Dogs will learn: attention to handler, sit, down, stand, come when called, walk on a loose leash, retrieving. We will also accustom the puppies to beginning agility equipment such as tunnels and boards.
Students should bring a large plastic dish full of yummy, soft treats cut into VERY small pieces (Cheese, meatballs, hotdogs, cooked chicken all work well.) Pieces should be the size of a small pea. They will need at least a half pound to a pound, depending on the size of dog.
Do NOT feed dogs the morning of class.
